Lest we forget: Attack on Soviet Union
Today is the 84th anniversary of the attack of Nazi Germany on the Soviet Union. In a surprise attack, Nazi Germany and several of its European Axis allies invaded the Soviet Union and started the war on the Eastern Front. This war is known as the Great Patriotic War in most former Soviet states. Lest we forget.
